support to individuals children and/or families on a specific purpose

CHILD/ADOLESCENT/FAMILY PSYCHOTHERAPIST REQUIREMENTS:
We invite applications from qualified and accredited Child &
Adolescent and/or Family Therapy Psychotherapists to provide
individual counselling services specifically to support young
people/adolescents. The role may also involve supporting
parents/guardians of those children where qualifications allows. We
provide counselling for both Adults and children, experience of

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:
* A qualification in counselling/psychotherapy (ideally at
diploma/masters? level) in child and/or adolescent psychotherapy.
* An accredited qualification in counselling/psychotherapy
recognised by FTAI, IACP, IAHIP or equivalent body.
* Eligibility to work therapeutically with young people under the
IACP Grandparenting clause by demonstrating required competencies for
working with clients who are under **Apply on the website** years of
age.
* A track-record of working therapeutically with young people.
* A flexible approach and an ability to handle a varied workload.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well both under
own initiative and as part of a team.
* Ability to reflect on practice in order to facilitate personal
learning, professional development and service improvement
* Demonstrate great warmth and the ability to empathize
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills
* Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team
* Strong time management skills and capacity to prioritize competing
demands
* Ability to foster good working relationships with external
